I developed a custom video player application for General Motors and their various brands. Aside from the "coolness" factor the app did some heavy lifting in terms of tracking user behavior on the site from from rollovers and clicks to how many seconds of any given video was played.

GM / Live Green Go Yellow

This site launched 2007 this year's Super Bowl. To promote E85-ethanol as an alternative to gasoline, GM decided to give away 20,000 t-shirts. Well, the site's been such a huge success, that on the first day they booked well over 100,000 orders! My role here was some of the backend/database integration, ecards, form submissions, and building the "vehicle selector" and "cornulator" tools.

Gillette / Venus Vibrance

I developed a database driven Flash application that let the user generate a visual mood board based on simple questions about user's favorite colors, pets, shapes, etc. Originally launched as a stand-alone site, was later ported to Myspace.com and customized for various vedors.

I think my work can be described as a combination of strategic design and purposeful functionality. My objective is to provide clients with rich interactive solutions that are based on a meaningful user experience, usability, and a touch of a "wow" factor. I do this by matching internet technologies to business needs and producing engaging and highly functional websites with web enabled applications.

In today's world, we're constantly bombarded with new information. There is so much of it that it's sometimes hard to filter out the irrelevant. This is where I shine - eliminating confusion and communicating clearly to the customer. My work has proved to boost sales, reduce costs, improve customer service, and improve customer retention or acquisition.

My involvement with Target started with the design of retail software packages, and continued through marketing initiatives that advertised those products.

Reuters Personal Finance was a portal for one of the leading online finance and news providers, the world's largest electronic publisher, and a supplier of news and information to over 900 web sites. I worked within a design team establishing an overall look and feel of the site, designing the navigation system and functional components including stock quotes, calculators, and financial comparison tools.

Sallie Mae

As a lead-designer on the project, I established a look and feel of the site, and worked with the creative team to carry the new identity into inner level pages. I also designed, prototyped, and then built the final version of the Flash navigation on the homepage, that enabled quick access to inner level pages.

!!! The site was awarded Macromedia Site of the Day for the superb integration of Flash MX and Dreamweaver MX to deliver an easily updated navigation system and website.

I art directed and lead design on this project giving the subsidiary of Sallie Mae a new visual identity which tied them closer to their parent company.

Liberty Paulista

I was asked to use Macromedia Flash to completely redo the site's a navigation system. The existing DHTML solution was not only failing during browser testing, it also wasn't meeting the client's page weight limits. I was able to achieve the goal while slashing the file size of the homepage in half, and making the navigation system for the entire site completely browser independent.

!!! The site was awarded Best Multilingual/Local Web Site at the International Web Page Awards.

I helped to establish the overall look and feel of the site, created compelling imagery, designed pages for third-party vendors, and lead design and production during maintenance.

!!! The Web site received a number of awards: Astrid Grand Award, Gold Astrid Award, Bronze Omni Award, Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards, and Certificate of Creative Excellence from the International Web Page Awards.
